We are pleased to introduce you to Yuma Elementary District One’s newest school, Dorothy Hall Elementary School, home of the Innovators! We are in the southeast region of Yuma, Arizona, and are excited to begin the educational journey with your child.

A Message from Our Principal
Congratulations to our teacher of the year nominee, Ms. Marsha Gomez. Ms. Gomez is an inspirational educator who has transformed her self-contained classroom into a rigorous learning environment. She has a true passion for special education. She was selected by her colleagues to represent Dorothy Hall, and we are so proud to have her represent our campus! There is no school on Friday, February 16. Teachers will be participating in our district-wide professional development day. There is also no school on Monday, February 19 in observance of Presidents Day.
National School Counseling Week 2024 (#NSCW24), "School Counseling: Standards-Based, Student-Focused,” is on February 5–9, 2024. The purpose of school counseling week is to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within United States school systems. Thank you, Mrs. Bickford, for all that you do for our students! We appreciate you!
