Dear Dorothy Hall Families,

Welcome back to the second quarter of the 2026–2027 school year! As we begin this new quarter, I want to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful start to our school year and express my heartfelt gratitude for the continued support, trust, and partnership of our Dorothy Hall families.

Our theme this year, “The Power of Us,” reminds us that great things happen when we work together. During the first quarter, we witnessed our students learning, growing, building friendships, overcoming challenges, and demonstrating what it truly means to be a Dorothy Hall Innovator. Every accomplishment, big or small, is worth celebrating!

As we move into the second quarter, our commitment to academic excellence remains strong. We will continue to challenge our students, celebrate their progress, and provide meaningful opportunities for growth. Through our AVID strategies, engaging instruction, and intentional interventions, we are helping students develop the confidence, independence, and skills they need to become successful lifelong learners. We believe that every child is capable of success, and every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.

While academic achievement is important, we also recognize that educating the whole child means nurturing kindness, responsibility, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Our goal is for every student to walk through our doors knowing they are safe, loved, valued, and capable of achieving great things.

I look forward to a second quarter filled with continued growth, meaningful learning, joyful celebrations, and opportunities to strengthen the relationships that make Dorothy Hall such a special place.
