Dear Dorothy Hall Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! As we prepare to begin a new school year, my heart is filled with excitement and gratitude to continue serving our amazing Dorothy Hall community.

At Dorothy Hall, innovation is at the heart of who we are. We are proud to be Dorothy Hall Innovators, and we believe that every child is capable of success. Our goal is to create a school where students feel safe, loved, challenged, and inspired to grow. We are committed to supporting the whole child so every student feels seen, valued, and ready to reach their full potential.

As an AVID school, our instructional practices are guided by strategies that help students think deeply, stay organized, collaborate with others, read and write with purpose, and build the confidence they need for future success. AVID helps us prepare our students not only for the next grade level, but also for college, careers, and life. Through intentional teaching, high expectations, and strong support, we will continue helping our students become leaders, problem-solvers, and lifelong learners.

To our returning families, thank you for your continued trust, partnership, and support. To our new families, welcome to Dorothy Hall! We would especially like to welcome all of our new military families. We welcome you with open arms and are ready to support your transition into our school community. We are honored to have you join our Dorothy Hall family.

This past year reminded us of the power of partnership, trust, and teamwork. Our students grow and succeed when families, school, and community come together. I would also like to thank our community partners for their continued support and investment in our students and school. Your partnership helps us provide meaningful opportunities and experiences for our children.

I am looking forward to another wonderful year filled with learning, growth, celebrations, and meaningful moments.
