Military Families

Dorothy Hall Elementary School salutes our military families and provides a welcoming, supportive learning environment for military students. We invite families to contact us to schedule a tour or learn more about the great programs available at Dorothy Hall.

Military Family Life Counselors

Military Family Life Counselors, funded by the Department of Defense, may serve schools with many active-duty dependent students. With parent permission, they provide free, confidential individual and group counseling to children and families to address the impacts of military life. They do not keep records of counseling. They also may provide education and coaching to teachers and staff.

We encourage our active-duty military families to learn more about the program or schedule an appointment with your school’s MFLC by contacting District One’s Military-Connected Advocate, Sandra Carbajal, (928) 502-4397.
