AVID

We use the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program to teach our students how to become organized and to self-advocate. They learn to take structured notes as well as hone their communication skills. We teach them to answer and ask more complex questions. In addition, we encourage our students to consider their future scholastic and career plans. These important skill sets are vital to success in middle school, high school, and beyond.
